1:10.7	The majority of my adult life has been inside of the wellness community or in the wellness space.
1:18.9	Virtually all my friends and colleagues and people I admire come from that space.
1:24.7	Yoga practitioners and meditators, spiritual and personal development seekers, authors,
1:32.0	writers. And I think it's fair to largely categorize this community of people as curious,
1:43.2	tolerant, loving, and from a, I suppose, a sociopolitical perspective,
1:50.9	generally think of this community as progressive, a community that espouses human rights, notions of equality, certainly sustainability, social
2:06.9	justice. So it was unnerving to me, and perhaps to many others, about six months ago when we really entered COVID lockdown to start to see my
2:22.2	social media feeds inundated with posts from this community that were espousing many of the
2:33.3	theories that are typically associated with the alt-right.
2:39.0	And we'll get into what many of those theories are today in this episode.
2:46.0	And by extension, there was an increasing, uh, fealty or, or support within this community of Donald
2:56.9	Trump, um, which seems anachronistic. And over the last six months, I, I think it's fair to say that
3:03.5	this trend on social media particularly, but also offline has continued to blossom.
