Today's guest is Lauren Bowling. She's the founder of the personal finance website lbandthemoneytree.com. It's an award winning blog which she began as a young professional, highlighting the ups and downs of her personal finance journey. Lauren's personal finance story started in college when she got her first credit card, yup, and racked up $10,000 in debt just like a lot of us in just a short span of time. After graduating with a degree in theatre, she moved to New York of course to pursue her big dream of acting. She had only $300 in her pocket, and she talks about what happens after that.
