So anyways, Katie is the Vice President of Clinical Education and Compliance for

Andura Care Acute Care Services.

She is Board certified specialist in following disorders and is a certified dementia care instructor through dementia care specialist.

She serves as a member of the Professional Development Committee for Ash's 613.

She is a member of Ash's Health Care Economics Committee and served as an advisor to the American Medical Association

CPT Health Care Professional's Advisory Committee. Having nearly 20 years of clinical experience,

Katie has both provided clinical care and held leadership roles in a variety of clinical care settings including acute care, hospital, outpatient, sub-acute rehab, long-term care, and private practice.

Katie is presented nationally on topics including

dysphasia, health literacy, and professional issues in rehabilitation. Her

passions in the field of SLP are dysphasia, specifically neurogenic ideology and regulatory issues surrounding the

rehab professions.
