Welcome back to the QOTS! The day show I'm your host, Sean Croxton, and Sean

Croxton.com. We got the late Debbie Ford on this show today. She is the author of

the book I talked about last week called The Dark Side of the Light Chasers,

which we start discussing in the book club tonight. I haven't opened up

book club all summer. I'm just kind of keeping the same group right now, but I'll

reopen what it's going to be mid-September. So be on the lookout for that. But she

breaks down. Actually, this is one of the very few. I might have been sure with the

last time we did this. This isn't like an on-stage talk. It's actually a in-studio

recording. But I wanted you to hear it today because as we talked about last

week, we're trying to cut off sides of ourselves. We're trying to cut off the

things about us that we don't like to look at, that we don't like to show, that we

shame ourselves for having. But what she's going to do today is like, break down

that your dark side is actually good, that there are parts of your life in which

you can use these darker parts of you. And it's an invitation for you to start

to think about like what's good about your aggression or your anger or your

selfishness or the part of you that really, really wants to take a stand and

speak up for yourself and not live in fear of somebody cancelling you or

shutting you down or whatever it may be. What are the good parts of that? Because

it's hard to really be all of you to be your whole self when you're trying to

cut things off. So this is huge. I hope you love it. Debbie Ford coming up after
