We are diving into today's episode of Emotionally Uncomfortable and summer is coming.

0:06.8

And during summer, there's always like a huge, it's a completely different season.

0:13.1

Um, I notice a huge shift in the questions that I'm getting from clients when it comes to

0:19.2

seeing and understanding their children's behavior. When it comes to seeing and understanding their children's behavior,

0:21.6

when it comes to cultivating and creating connection. And also like creating space for themselves.

0:28.6

So there's, you know, summer energy and the sun is shining, depending on where you are in the

0:33.4

world. For some of you, it's not summer. You're headed into a winter season, depending on, you know, where you are in the world. For some of you, it's not summer. You're headed into a winter season,

1:02.3

habits. What do you call it? The routines are changing with your kids. You're, you might be

1:06.5

traveling more. Lifestyles are changing. You're more outside. And, you know, we think that

1:14.5

physical time with our children equals emotional connection to our kids. And it doesn't.

1:19.9

Think about, just think about it when you have those friends or those people that don't live near

1:26.2

you and you don't spend a lot of physical time

1:29.4

with them but you still feel connected to them like energetically spiritually emotionally you still

1:35.1

feel connected to them so that's what I'm talking about when I talk about connection um but

1:40.9

oftentimes I find that people are living in such a capacity deficit, like a time,

1:48.8

like in time debt, energy debt, um, that they think connection equals time. And I do not

1:57.6

believe that connection equals time. I believe connection equals presence.

2:04.8
