Welcome back to the quarter of the day show I'm your host

Sean Crox and a Sean Crox and calm. We got Dr. George C. Fraser, one of my

favorite speakers on the show today. And he's talking about the table. How do

you get a seat at the table? How do you get an invite to the table? You get it

by bringing something to that table by being excellence at what you do being

amazing at whatever it is you do. And I've said before on previous episodes, it

has never been easier to become an expert at something than today. Because

number one, we have tons of resources. We got books. We got YouTube videos. We

got podcasts. We got people out there who are excellent telling you how and

teaching you how to become excellent just like them so that the resources, the

access is there. We've all got it. But here's number two, it has never been

easier to become excellent at something because most people are not willing to

sit their butts down for two or three or four hours a day to study their

craft. They are busy watching TV, they're watching Netflix or scrolling

Instagram all day, right? They're not ever going to get to the table. And if

that's what you're doing, you're not going to get to the table because you're

never going to become excellent. You're going to become excellent at Netflix and

social media. But if you really want to sit at that table, if you're wondering

why I can't ever get at the table, why can't I ever get a table? Because you're

not excellent yet. You got to commit yourself to excellence. You got to turn off

the TV. You got to read those books every single day. Read the books, take the
