Hello and welcome to another episode of the Mark Gross podcast. You know, I've been really

0:12.7

fascinated by the language, you know, like, hey, just, you know, manifest this. And I remember the

0:18.7

movie The Secret where I was like, hey, you want a red bike. Just imagine a red bike. And you get a red bike. And I remember the movie The Secret where it was like, hey, you want a red bike,

0:22.1

just imagine a red bike. And you get a red bike. And I remember my brother, I was talking to him

0:26.5

about it. And he's like, it's so stupid. Like, you don't just imagine red bike and get a red bike.

0:31.8

And I'm like, you know, that logic actually makes pretty good sense. So I like to go in and uncover what is sort of that language and what does it mean about.

0:42.8

And, you know, I did that years ago, just wanting to understand what that meant, like raising

0:46.6

your vibration, what vibration meant and then looking at sort of the physics of that

0:51.4

and that it really is talking about the wave frequencies at which

0:56.0

we are emitting based on our attitudes or energy. And I remember looking at one of those

1:02.9

studies where they had two plants and they kind of talk shit to one plan and talked love to the other

1:10.6

plan. And over time,

1:12.6

I couldn't believe it. I remember watching the time lapse and the conversation on YouTube,

1:16.1

which editing aside, let's just go with this for a sec, that the plant that got spoken to

1:22.1

with love was freaking thriving. And the other one was like, oh, man, not good.

1:28.5

And this is, you know, I don't know that this even needs science to be validated.

1:33.5

Like we know that that is true, that if we speak to anything with that energy of compassion

1:38.5

and empathy and kindness and generosity, that it is to thrive.

1:43.0

You know, as humans, we know this is true, our pets, all these things, plants crazy.

1:48.2

We never knew that, right?

1:50.0

So I wanted to bring on someone who I really admire, respect, love her writing, and have that

1:57.1

conversation because her writing is so real, it's so fierce, and it's so beautiful.
