Welcome to the perfume room. I just want to say if you were at the swap on Friday night, thank you. It was so nice seeing so many familiar faces and meeting so many new ones. Someone commented

on my recap post on Instagram, genuinely asking how this worked and like stayed organized

and functional. And to be honest, Shabby and I had put out some guidelines beforehand, but we

too wondered how this would all play out. But then we also figured, like, you know,

get a bunch of fragheads with impeccable taste in a room together, what could go wrong?

And we were right.

Nothing.

No notes.

It was perfect.

The caliber of the swap was unparalleled.

At different points in the night, I'd glance at the table and see Serge Lutons, Kenzo, Chanel, Com de Gerson, Isemiocchi, Mesaimichy, Mesaun Rabachi, Dias and Durga, Atelier Cologne, Ducita, Sniff, Ex-Nihilo, Santa Maria Novella, Isap, Strangers Perfumery, and more. I could go on and on and on. As people were leaving,

they would show me what they took on their way out. And when I tell you, the joy on everyone's

faces with what they left with was just beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for.

So thank you again to everyone who came and made this the event that it was and made the quality

of the swap so incredibly high. We had so much fun and we will definitely do it again.

I also wanted to share my most recent two fragrance purchases because I think they really

demonstrate what a true creature of habit I am. So yes, I try nuisance all the time.

However, when push comes to shove, here I am basically just ordering backup bottles of things I already own.

So on Saturday, I happen to be in Grand Central.
