It's the big one for NFL running backs and specifically the 2017 running back draft

class.

Kareem Hunt came in and broke out and so did Alvin Camera.

Leonard Fornet took on a huge role and Christian McCaffrey saw a league high 113 targets at the

position.

The 2017 rookies were good and they made a big impact in the NFL.

Holes were filled by that 2017 running back draft class and that's created fewer holes

that need filled by the 2018 group.

The problem is that this year's class is being advertised as another strong one, especially

at the top with Saquon Barkley.

Now I've talked about the class based on production profiles in the past but like last week's

show on quarterbacks, I want to give you guys another perspective on this year's class.

So I called up Elliott Chris to you may know from 4-4-4.com and his awesome draft daily

podcast.

Elliott and I talked through what he looks for when evaluating running backs in today's

NFL, the importance of past protection, how he views the top end of this year's
