So let's take it back a little bit.

You were at Oxford University.

And what happened in terms of the food scene there?

You mean the prison-like food that they were serving in the colleges?

I wouldn't be anywhere close to somebody who could claim a culinary upbringing.

My mother knew how to make I think about five

dishes four of which contained brown rice and tofu, a child of a hippie if you couldn't tell

from the name and I found myself in Oxford basically unable to eat the food that they were serving to me.

And I, so I had access to a kitchen and I started cooking for myself.

And when I say cooking for myself, I mean, you know, like scrambled and and spaghetti and things like that and

figured out of the

scrambled eggs for dinner yeah yeah yeah yeah that's how

the college snack guy top ramen occasion right right Well it is one of the finest Raman

brands you can buy is prepackaged for you in cellophane so of those options.

What's not to love? And so I thought well here I am on this young

intellectual in Europe.
