Hello everybody welcome back to the primal potential

podcast so many of you have reached out in response to the new series I

announced where not only am I going to be sharing some chapters from chasing cupcakes but

what I'm really excited about because I know a lot of you have read that first

book of wine I want to provide color commentary sort of a live reflections updates stories

version on the podcast because while it hasn't been a super long time since I wrote

chasing cupcakes I wrote it in 2018 2019 a lot of my life has changed since

then I mean it's been several more years of business and

working with clients but also in that time I've had four kids and moved and just every

area of my life feels very very different. We did the prologue last week

which is a lot of my story but also a lot of really great stuff and one of my big

takeaways from that episode if you haven't

heard it yet was how we can't move into a new way of being if we're still

identifying with an old way of being and a part of the problem for me that kept me stuck for so many

years was I identified as the overweight girl that was just who I saw myself as and if that is who you believe

that you are then it's going to be really really hard to create any change if the

problem has become your identity.

Today, before we go into part one and chapter one,

just like the prologue, I kind of was like,

oh, should I do this, should I not not but I think that we really should do this it's the

chapter before the first chapter and it's called getting the most out of this book, but I think it's an important thing to talk about because we could take the ideas from this and turn it

into getting the most out of any podcast you listen to getting the most out of any
