Thank you for answering my question. My question is, I don't understand how Catholic teachings of

Magisterial and papal infallibility can go alongside free will.

Okay. All right, great question, Margaret. So let's back up for a second and establish

what papal infallibility, or this charism of infallibility for the Pope entails.

Basically, Margaret, it's a guardrail.

It's a promise that God will see to it, and we'll talk about that and unpack that in a moment,

but God will see to it that the Pope does not formally bind the church to believe something that is erroneous.

And what that means is that basically saying, hey, all Christians, you got to believe this. And if you reject it, you're going to be subject to the guilt of sin. Okay.
