Good day citizens and welcome to this special podcast edition of the Thomas Jefferson hour.

This is going to be a short introduction.

Well, this is the first of two shows that were recorded live in Fargo, North Dakota on September 11th, 2016.

It's something that you do annually, Clay Clay and you usually do it to raise funds for

a good cause. They'll hear about that in the program. But we at least need to acknowledge

that this is the source of this week's show.

Yes and there were celebrities in the audience in addition to about 150 people on a beautiful

fall day.

It was the first day of the NFL.

It was the 15th anniversary of 9-11 it was an absolutely

dropped-ed gorgeous autumn day on the high plains of North Dakota and yet a large

group of people came and there were there were at least two celebrities well three Connie

the state Democratic Party brilliant woman and our our master Larry

Skogan the president of bismarck, was there with his friend Charlotte, and they were in Fargo and wanted to see the program. He's the sponsor. And then the third person who was at that performance was none other than Dr. Bruce Pitts, our old friend from France. He's temporarily

in Fargo and he came to the program and I just wanted to bring him up and say tell us about Jefferson in France but he deferred.

given the opportunity to choose the subject of conversation as long as it's not
