Hey everybody and welcome to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter podcast.

Just a couple quick things real quick before we get into our episode.

One, this week's episode is quite a bit different than the episodes we put out the last couple weeks.

If you've noticed the trend, I've been, oh, diving down, just trying to get a bunch of information

together on tuning, compound bow specifically, and building arrows, specifically,

and do the target archery thing.

So these are just arrows that I wanted built specifically for hunting, and because turkey hunting it opens i think it opened today actually

so congratulations to anybody that has gotten a turkey and uh good luck to everybody that's going out

my season is may 6th through the 31st i take the take the late season. I do every year. It's the longest season,

and with my work schedule and everything else that I have going out,

that's just always worked out the best for me to actually have an opportunity to get out a

handful of times, and I really want to get a turkey this year and

reason I bring that up is I'm hunting with my compound. I've hunted the last couple of years

the shotgun year prior with the recurve and I just haven't had a lot of time in the last couple of

years to go and not that I have a lot this year, but I have high hopes and aspirations of getting a turkey killed with a compound bow.

So that'll be happening here, what, a couple weeks.

I have, but everybody else is up and going.

So that's why I wanted to get my arrows built, get my broadheads tuned.

I was paper tuning yesterday.
