This is episode 120 of the Swallier Pride Podcast and today's guest is Denise Rule.

She is a graduate of California State University of Sacramento with her Masters in Speech mythology.

She's worked with Pediatrics and adults in a variety of

settings including outpatient, in-home, inpatient, acute rehab, and skilled nursing. Her primary focus

for the last few years has been on assessment and treatment of

dysphagia in the adult population in the inpatient and skilled nursing

settings. She works part-time as an SLP at a local hospital and she owns our own

mobile fees business in Sacramento, the first in California. and she has a passion for

has a passion for continual learning and personal growth

as those things are what have helped her

to provide the best care for her patients

and continued passion for the

SLP field. Oh my goodness I hope you guys love this episode I love Denise.

She's amazing. She's one of those SLPs that I just love because she is just always questioning the status quo going against the grain.

Well, why can't we do things questioning things and I love that about her and I just wish that was a quality that

so many other SLPs would have what were told know about doing something or

okay well then I'm gonna advocate for a different service or advocate in a different way.
