I've known Michael for quite a while now, I guess since his rookie year in Cup. And when he

sort of came out of nowhere and burst on the scene, he's done a lot of these

interviews over the years, probably one every year, if I'm not mistaken.

And Michael, the first question is, when you meet someone who doesn't know who you are,

do you ever lie about what you do for a living?

Sometimes. Yeah, you know, i typically don't try to lie directly but i will avoid it or tell them that i work in

racing or motorsports or sometimes i tell people i work for a naskar um That's just kind of what comes out.

And then you, like, you're just kind of hoping that they don't ask a ton of questions
