I'm a motorsports writer for the athletic.

And each week we ask the same 12 questions to a different race car driver.

Up this week is Kyle Larson, who needs no introduction.

Of course, former NASCAR champion, Knoxville Nationals champion.

There's pretty much one in every type of car he's ever gotten into.

which really helps in situations like these because sometimes as you'll hear the drivers,

you know, they don't know the answer. And so if they plan ahead and they already know what's going on,

they can phone a friend.

In this case, Larson phoned his dad.

Actually, Texas, dad reached out for some information.

That's coming up in question number eight.

And it's thought about the answers,

and it just helps when Jarvis put some thought into it.

And one more thing. We recorded this outside during

some Xfinity on-track activity. And so it's a little bit loud. But, you know, we're at a race
