Wednesday, August 21st. The US job market isn't as strong as we initially thought.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released a new annual

revision of jobs data this morning and the report says there were 818,000

fewer jobs in March of this year than were initially reported.

Today's revision is preliminary,

so it won't change the existing employment data for now.

But it's another critical gauge for the overall health

of the US labor market.

Job growth has dropped off in recent months,

making it more likely than not for the Federal Reserve

to start cutting interest rates next month.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walls will make it official tonight and accept the nomination for Vice President on the Democratic ticket at the Democratic National Convention.

CNN's Eva Mackend breaks down what else to expect on day three from Chicago.
