The UN is calling on Israel to give their team's access to Al-Shiva Hospital in Gaza,

after the Israeli military released video showing what it said was a tunnel shaft used by Hamas under the hospital complex

CNN's Orrin Lieberman has more on what the Israeli military says they found

The first bit of evidence the ideaDF had released was from inside the

hospital itself and showed some weapons and ammunition not even close to proving the

assertion that Hamas has a network of tunnels underneath. Now they put out images and video of a tunnel

tunnel entrance within the complex itself.

Hamas and hospital administrators immediately rejected the claim as

ridiculous. The UN Human Rights Chief said an independent

investigation was necessary to review the competing claims.

CNN is unable to verify the claims of either side.

Meanwhile an Israeli official says the country's war cabinet approved a measure to allow two fuel tankers a day to enter Gaza to support water and sewage systems.

The move comes after a UN official called on Israel to stop preventing fuel and

other supplies from getting into the enclave. He says Gazans are risking death from

thirst and diseases due to the lack of safe drinking water. College campuses have seen a rise in tension over the ongoing

Israel Hamas war. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona says the agency has launched investigations
