Hi there from CNN, I'm Krista Boe with the five things you need to know for Thursday

November 30th. Israel's military says more hostages taken by Hamas are

being released from Gaza today. Israel and Hamas extended their truce for a seventh day today and Egypt

says it's working with Qatar to extend it for two more days. This process is

producing results. It's important and we hope that it can continue.

U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinking is in the region, meeting with

Palestinian and Israeli leaders like Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Prime Minister doubled down on his promise

to, quote, eliminate Hamas, and said

he wanted to discuss the next phase of the war with Lincoln.

His comments come after a shooting attack

at a bus station in Jerusalem that killed at least three people.

In the first six days of the truce, 97 hostages were released and 210 Palestinians were

freed from Israeli jails.

Many of them were arrested in the West Bank

and detained without being charged, put on trial,

or given the opportunity to defend themselves.
