Thursday, October 31st. Five days to go until election day, and both candidates

are heading out west to deliver their final arguments to voters in the critical battleground states of Arizona and Nevada.

In another battleground state, Pennsylvania, there's a flurry of legal activity going on over alleged voter registration irregularities and

ballot delivery issues from both Republicans and Democrats.

Lancaster County and York County are investigating a large swath of questionable voter registration

applications.

Lancaster County Election Board official Ray Dagestino said, they're looking into a suspicious

batch of 2,500 voter registration applicants that were dropped off by a large-scale canvassing operation.

For instance, some of those applications were in the same handwriting and some of the signatures were seemed to be in the

same handwriting almost duplicative.

CNN's Paula Reed breaks down what Republicans and Democrats are doing about Erie County

in the key state.

While we have seen over the past several months,

it's been mostly Republican-aligned groups

that have been involved with over 130 different lawsuits,

this lawsuit in Erie County was actually filed by Democrats who are saying

that the state is not doing enough to address a disruption in delivering mail-in

ballots to up to 20,000 voters and they are asking the court to make sure that's in The Federal Reserve's favorite gauge of the inflation picture in the US has been released.

And it shows inflation cooled even further last month, likely solidifying more interest rate cuts next month.
