Hey there, from CNN, I'm Chris Debeau with the five things you need to know for

Friday, March 15th. Fulton County DA Fawnee Willis can stay, but if she does, the

lead prosecutor's got to go. That's what the judge overseeing the Georgia

elections aversion and racketeering case against former President Donald Trump

and others ruled today. Judge Scott McAfee said special prosecutor Nathan

Wade should step down from the case if Willis doesn't decide to bow out,

to put any doubts created by their romantic relationship to rest.

This decision comes after over two months of drama over a claim brought by one of Trump's co-defendants

that Willis and Wade had a conflict of interest and Willis financially benefited after hiring

weight. Judge McAfee was highly critical of Willis's conduct and of the relationship in general,

describing it as being the result of quote bad choices. Trump's lawyers slammed

the decision saying they'll use all legal options available to fight to end the case.

A verdict yesterday in Michigan could set an important precedent nationwide when it comes to parental responsibility of school shooters.
