Why am I 26 year old still grew up wanting to be on Adage's top?

One of my kids ran up to me and he's like, we made G-E.

We do G's been a brand that's gotten a lot of credit for a lot of the work that we've done in the last five years.

He's like, we made on Adage's top 10 hit list.

And I'm like, the fuck is that?

You know, like, he's like, I've always wanted to be on it.

And I was pumped for him because I grew up wanting to be in the wine spectator.

And I have empathy.

Like, if this is your craft, if this is what you always knew, if your dad and mom did this,

I don't wanna destroy that.

I just want people to understand it's dangerous to be the quickest way to go out of business

is to be romantic about how you make your money.

It's the quickest way.

And we're listening, you know, listen guys, I wish just, I think it's a full story.

I built Wine Library in direct mail, outdoor radio, outdoor radio,

local television, full page ads and The New York Times and Wall Street Journal.

I wish that marketing didn't change.

I had it figured out.
