Out of Alta Dina, California, southern California, north of Pasadena and the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, the Southern California man got a big surprise last week when he found a 500-pound black bear living underneath his house. Why has it got to be a black bear?

Because there are no grizzlies. A white bear is a polar bear.

In Southern California.

All started last Tuesday when he took a look at one of his surveillance cameras

and noticed a bear in his crawl space underneath his house.

By the way, it's from Nick's dad.

Damn it, you beat me.

A 500-pound black bear, he's the one percentile.

Is that that big?

That's about as big as a black bear gets.

Are they agile still at 500 pounds?

He had seen a YouTube video of another Altadina resident who had a bear living in its crawl space,

and he started to wonder.

It looked like my crawl space, so I thought, there's possibly a way.

Next thing I know, my camera picks up a bear crawling out from under the crawl space,
