This podcast features some of the best from the second half of 2020,

starting with a story from August 17th firefighters who usually run toward trouble

running away from it probably because it had horns. Ferdinand the Bulls

somehow got between them and the wildfire they were fighting in Ventura

County, California. Video shows a half dozen firefighters high tailing it down a mountain

with the bull hot on their heels.

They made it back to their rigs just in the nick of time and Ferdinand, apparently satisfied with the chase,

calmly went back to grazing. The misadventure was a light spot in an otherwise

dark weekend on the fire lines. A hundred thousand acres have burned across California,

Oregon, and Colorado all made made worse by triple digit heat.

From August 19th, the not-so-secret secret service code names for our top politicians coming to light.

According to CNN, soon to be vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris has chosen pioneer as her handle.

The choice seems to reflect the historic nature of her nomination as the first female of color

on a major party ticket.

Mr. Biden's was and will continue to be Celtic.

For the current administration, President Trump goes by Mogul and Vice President Pence

is Hoosier in deference to his Indiana roots.

While the code names sometimes change for security reasons, they clearly aren't considered much of a secret.

The new super expensive Lou lifted off from the Virginia coast last night, bound for the International Space Station.
