fun one first of all if you've been listening to this show for any length of time i always get questions

about wills and trusts and bill do I need a lawyer to write a trust?

Can I write it myself? Can I go on the internet? Can I write a holographic will, meaning it's a

handwritten will where you don't even have a form? And I always ask two questions. How much money?

And how complicated is your estate what you're

leaving if there's a pile of money of course you go to a lawyer and if it's

complicated businesses and properties you go to a lawyer so this is a case

surrounding the death of Aretha Franklin, who died in 2018.

And there are two wills in question.

One was written in 2010, handwritten.

The other one was written in 2014, handwritten.

And they were written to different people.

And the fight then went to a jury because lawsuits were filed, the will was being probated,

and they were both handwritten wills, as I said.

And so will number two, the one written in 2014, was the one that the jury said, that prevails,

that was the last will that was written.

And it took a while to find it because of two reasons.
