All right, going back to 2020, you remember George, of course you remember, George Floyd was killed by Eric Chauvin, the police officer,

who is now serving some 22 years in jail for the murder of George Floyd.

Well, they're at the place where George Floyd was killed.

It's like little shopping center, which is now called George Floyd Square.

There are a group of businesses, in particular,

the cut foods. And this was sort of this case. There was the center of this case. It's a

convenience store where George Floyd was suspected of trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill,

which led to the fatal encounter with the police that we've all seen.

And what ended up happening is there are several businesses around there, and they're all filing a lawsuit against the city of Minneapolis.

Now, you would have thought, I thought, that all the litigation is basically done.

I guess it doesn't, or it hasn hasn't because now there's a lawsuit.

And what the police did is a city put up a barrier around it, a concrete barrier.

And what the businesses are saying is not only do the barrier keep customers from entering,

but also you have the police now not showing up because

they figure it's a safe place. And in fact, it's turned into a hub for violent crime. This is

according to the lawsuit. The lawsuit says criminals know the area lacks police protection

...
