I am so excited about today's conversation, which I feel like I say that every time. You do. I hate to break it to you, but you always say it. So tell us, why are you so amped, Ashrada?

Well, okay.

So today we're going to be talking about the brain science part of how God created us for joy.

Did anyone expect that?

Is that what you thought she was going to say?

I don't think you

were expecting to hear the word brain science. But here we are. Here we are. Because God literally

created our brains to be wired for joy and delight. And it's one of those things where it's like,

I saw it in scripture. And I thought it was like really neat how, you know, we covered the theology of

delight and we covered how God is a God of delight and he created us out of delight. But then to read

secular scientists talking about this just blew my mind. That is fun. It's fun when you can

approach something which feels like a non-spiritual topic and the revelation

of God is in it. I love that. I just had this conversation with my kids recently and I told them

everything reveals God. It was like everything can teach us about God. And I think for a long time,

I kind of had these areas boxed of like, this is a spiritual

topic and this is a non-spiritual topic, you know? And I'm excited that you are bringing some

brain science into our Jesus conversations today. It's great. And there's a point. There's a point

to it. I'm not just going to like dive into brain science for the sake of like whatever,
