0:13.7	So take a deep breath and quiet your heart as we become aware of God's loving presence around us and within us.
0:27.3	Today's passage comes from Nehemiah 8, verse 10.

0:36.8	Let's begin by reciting God's goodness together. Oh God, how
0:44.6	faithful you are to your promises, how good and kind you are to always fulfill what you have

0:59.1	Old Testament to your promises in Jesus, each one of which is yes and amen.
1:06.2	You are the God who always keeps your word.
1:09.5	It is that faithfulness that we lean on. It is that
1:13.1	covenant-keeping kindness that we praise you for today. God, just as the people who returned from
1:20.5	exile mourned in realizing that they had failed to keep your promises, yet you encouraged them through the words of Nehemiah,
1:32.5	that they would rejoice in you, that they would rejoice in your faithful love, that you are the God
1:38.1	who keeps every promise you've made. And because of that, because you keep your promises, we can rejoice.
1:47.0	It is your delight in your people. That gives us strength. God, we praise you, that you extend
1:56.1	that covenant keeping kindness and love toward us. We praise you that your joy overflows to us
2:04.1	through Christ Jesus as well. And in that realization, as we stand on your promises, we can find
2:11.8	strength for today. We can find hope for tomorrow. You are the God who never changes, and we praise you. Thank you for
2:22.1	placing your joy in our hearts. Thank you that you strengthen us with your promises day by day.
2:31.8	So take a moment now to praise God for how He has kept His promises in your life.
