Today is Tuesday, December 10th, 2024. and we begin with NASA's much-hyped moon missions delayed again.

Astronauts had been scheduled to blast off for a lap around the moon next year and for the lunar surface in September 26.

But NASA administrator Bill Nelson says problems with the Orion capsule's

heat shield means both Artemis 2 and 3 must wait. The heat shield protects astronauts from the

fiery re-entry back into Earth's atmosphere. When the astronauts do finally reach the moon's surface,

now no sooner than 2027, they'll spend

almost a week there. The first astronauts in 1969 spent less than a day taking a giant

step for humankind before returning home.

And NASA is not the only one having reliability issues. Toyota has been dethroned as the most

reliable carmaker, a title it has unofficially held for decades. Consumer reports the

magazine many people consult for quality rankings now rates Subaru as the most reliable car with Toyota at number
