media apps asking you to take a break.

Instagram rolled out the new feature yesterday, hoping to show critics that it's doing something

to protect the mental health of kids and teens. The new tool allows users to set a time

limit, after which they get a full screen prompt to stop scrolling and instead listen to

music right in a journal or take a walk. The Graham also said it's changing how and

what content it recommends to teens and will nudge them away from any topic on which they

seem to fixate. The timing of the changes is probably not an accident. The head of the

company is due to appear before a Senate committee today where he's likely to get grilled

by lawmakers concerned about the app's impact on kids.

The New York City, a shortage of smear, can count as a genuine emergency. For the past

three weeks, cream cheese suppliers have been running low on the base ingredient most

bagel shops need, pallets of Philadelphia cream cheese. This stuff isn't processed or whipped,

which makes it different than what sold at the supermarket. The scarcity of the spread

is part of the country's ongoing supply chain issues and has some bagel shop owners chasing

down cream cheese in other states. It's not an easy find though when each store needs

hundreds of pounds every few weeks. As one shop owner told The New York Times, it's

kind of silly talking about this like it's some kind of huge crisis. But a bagel with

cream cheese is a New York institution and another topping apparently just won't do.
