And we begin with a warning from the United Nations Secretary General on climate change.

We are in trouble. Now as every kid who's ever

gotten in trouble knows, a warning usually means there's still time to change your

behavior before it's too late. A similar message is being heard this week at the annual UN Climate

Conference in Poland. Scientists and world leaders are gathering to discuss how to reduce

carbon emissions, which are seen as one of the biggest contributors to global warming.

Overall, greenhouse gas emissions are up 2.7% this year.

China is the world's biggest polluter, accounting for 27% of the problem, with the U.S. following in second place at 15%.

And if you're wondering why the grown-ups of the world aren't doing more to solve this problem, you're not alone.

15-year-old Greta Thunberg, a teenage climate activist from Sweden, addressed those attending the conference.

In her speech, she accused them of behaving like children for not taking more responsible action.

Thunberg gained worldwide attention by skipping school for two weeks in August to protest climate change,

and she still shows up in front of the Swedish Parliament

office weekly to strike. Her example has inspired 20,000 students around the

world to hold similar protests.

In entertainment news, Billboard magazine is out with its list of the top musical acts of 2018.

Taking the cake as top artist of the year, the Canadian-born rapper Drake, whose Scorpion the which also one for Top Song of the Year. Rounding out Billboard's list of the top five artists,

Post Malone, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift,

and 26 year old rapper, Cardi B,

who was also named Top New Artist.

And for Best Album of the Year, that award goes to Ms Swift for Reputation.
