I was actually get a reference one through the clue of the cookies next.

I was also going to talk about those lobotomies they used to do.

They used to do these crazy lobotomy procedures when they really had no idea what they were

doing.

I think they were solving significant illnesses and really they were just destroying people's

minds.

And so that's really important to understand that Scientology's contempt for mental health

services was rooted in a time where sort of post-Freudian but pre-CBT where there was

a lot of really dangerous scary stuff going on.

And frankly, he wasn't guessing about a treatment, you know, any more than Freud was.
