| 0:37.6 | I know for most of us, we'll be glad when 2020 is over, |
| 0:43.9 | but the preacher's primary work in 2020 will continue into the new year God willing, |

| 0:59.7 | And I want to encourage you, if you have not already, to begin planning your preaching for |

| 1:45.7 | Sunday mornings and then some instances think that we don't do much then. But the truth of the matter |
| 1:50.8 | is pastors are busy. And in fact, even though for many pastors, things have been shut down during the |
| 1:59.7 | coronavirus period, many pastors would tell you that |
| 2:03.8 | they've been even more busy during these months even though they have not been in what is |
| 2:11.6 | their typical or normal ministry routines pastors are busy and then lay aside that the fact that sermon preparation |
| 2:21.8 | is hard work. If you take it seriously, it is hard work. If you give it your best, it is hard |
| 2:31.1 | work. If you want to practice excellence in the pulpit as you proclaim the word of God and the |
| 2:39.8 | testimony of Jesus Christ, sermon preparation is hard work. |
| 2:44.7 | I'm at a stage in my life where I refuse to apologize for that reality. |
