It is very likely the people you admire and genuinely care for in your world hang out with

and have a close relationship with other admirable and quality people who may also be looking for new love.

Letting your network know you are open to and interested in meeting some new people this year

is just reinforcing your efforts with help from a community who probably has your back and wants to help you find the best match.

Yeah, I mean, we say this all the time, but I think the important thing to this is to not be

self-deprecating about it because I think there's such a common thing, especially for women.

I feel like it's kind of just like social media is we just meme ourselves, I feel like.

You know, of just making jokes about being single again.

And I don't think people take you seriously when you do that.

Like, yeah, they know that you're single, but they don't know that like it's truly

bothering you.

And I think like one thing that I've done is I said to my friends was like, I finally

feel ready to actually meet someone and finally feel ready to actually

intentionally get into a relationship. And that's something that I'm looking for. And that's a much

different conversation I've ever had with my friends before. And I noticed immediately that their

reaction to it was very different than whenever I've made jokes

about it. Yeah, it's because the hard part about saying this is feeling like you are behaving

desperately for me anyway. Yeah, and I really don't think it's desperate. I think it's very self-aware.
