Right now, we can all benefit from learning and growing

in order to better serve our communities. Today on the show, I have the distinct pleasure of

speaking with a new friend, Sophia Amaruso. You will likely know her as an accomplished and

edgy entrepreneur. In her early 20s, Sophia

launched an eBay store selling vintage clothing. Just a few years later, Nastygal skyrocketed,

pulling in $100 million in revenue, and Sophia found herself on the covers of a host of business

magazines like Forbes. Her autobiography, Girl

Boss, which was also adapted into a Netflix special, became an international bestseller.

And in 2017, Sophia launched Girl Boss Media, creating content and events geared towards

female entrepreneurs. Sophia has become an icon for creative millennial

business-oriented women. I have the good fortune to be working with Sophia as she launches

the next phase of her career. A few months ago, we began to discuss the idea of business mentorship.
