Hi, this is Alonzo Bowden, and I want to welcome you to episode 118 of my podcast, Who's Paying Attention?

Wow. This week has been, and I hate to say it, I got to say it it's just basically Republican

clown week I mean I've reached a point and and you've probably reached a point

to where we're tired of it over and over but honestly are there where are the

grown-ups on the Republican side I hate to say this and I didn't know if I'd

ever be saying it,

but I actually am beginning to feel sorry for Republicans. Not for crazy Republicans,

but for reasonable Republicans, businessmen, business women, people who have a reason to

support the Republican Party are just

getting swamped by the nonsense. Now, the latest round of crazy, and that's going to be an ongoing

description of this, but the latest thing is the Iran deal. Now, for those not familiar with it, and I'm not

going to go into the minutia of the deal, but you probably heard by now, Barack Obama has a deal on the table to deal with Iran and their nuclear efforts to develop nuclear energy.

And of course, they want to develop a nuclear bomb.

And we have sanctions against them.

So Barack Obama made a deal to slowly remove some sanctions.

And we get, we and other nations get to monitor their nuclear development and so on and so forth.

And basically the president and the world kind of agreed, well, not perfect, no deal is,

but this seems to be a good deal to keep an eye on Iran, to provide some security for Israel, et cetera, et cetera. Okay, so

that's what was on the table. Now, because it was Barack Obama's policy, right away, all

the Republicans and the House representative said, we have to stop it, we have to put a stop to it,

we're going to vote no, We're going to do a resolution,

blah, blah, blah, blah. The resolution went to the Senate. It was a disapproval resolution for an agreement made by the president. No, I've never heard of that done either, but you know,
