Part of me, and again, I don't really talk about this openly that much, but here I am now.

Part of me wants to tell my friends, quote unquote friends in the matter of wanting industry,

be careful what you wished for. You kind of have a good thing going right now. If you want this

regulated on the federal level and you want the FDA involved and you want all of these, you know,

you may not be unless you're a big fish, you may not be prosperous in a world where marijuana

is legal federally. I think in a world where marijuana is legal federally though, you do have

these big fish that are prosperous and that is what worries me is you have big tobacco and

alcohol fully taking over. They've already partly taken over fully taking over and I don't think

that's good for public health. Happy 420 everybody, you can go ahead and draw a bath. You can put a

CBD bath bomb. You can use some CBD lotion. You can hit your bong, you can roll a joint and you

can get ready to listen to this episode with Kevin sub bet. Now Kevin is a former three time White

House Office of National Drug Control Policy advisor. He's working Republican and Democratic

administrations and before you cringe, he wrote a book which we are here to discuss today and

that book is called Smoke Screen what the marijuana industry doesn't want you to know. Now before

we even get into it, this is not a refer madness book. Kevin is in favor of decriminalization.

What this is is a discussion of we live in a country where 20 years ago, medical marijuana was

some crackpot idea and now marijuana is legal in like 20 or 16 17 different states if you include

the district of Columbia. So what the hell does that mean? What does it mean with the emergence

of a marijuana industry, a multi billion dollar injection into a drug which is being used now

by millions Americans? What does it say about a socio culturally, scientifically and more? And to
