Hey everybody and welcome back to I Just Want to talk about the Bible.

If this is your first time joining us, then let me just welcome you and say that I am so glad that you're here today.

My name is Christian Keeter and I live in the southeast of the United States of America with my amazing, beautiful,

godly wife Lacey, and our two wonderful daughters, Felicity and Serenity.

All right, guys, well, today I'm going to do something a little bit different, and that is,

I'm going to go ahead and state right at the outset the point that is being made in this episode.

So instead of working our way up to it and revealing that at the end, let's just say it right now.

And the reason why I'm doing this is because we're going to be looking at quite a few scriptures here.

And as we go through those scriptures, I want you guys to have this point in your mind so you can be looking for it so that whenever I bring it back up after reading these scriptures, I'm not expecting you to go back through all of those scriptures in your mind and try to see where this point was made in them.

And at this point, you're probably like, okay, great, what's the point?

So the point is this.

The point is that physical metrics don't ultimately matter.

Physical metrics don't ultimately matter.

So let me just give you an example, finances, money. How much money you have in the bank and how that compares to the

expenses, bills, pressures, needs, and so on, how that compares to those things, that metric,

how much is in the bank, doesn't ultimately

matter. It is not the ultimate decider of outcomes. However, many times we do use physical

metrics as the things that ultimately matter. We look at what is in front of us. Again, just using

the example of finances, we look at what is in the bank account and we come to conclusions about what will or will

not happen based on that figure. So again, physical metrics don't ultimately matter. And that's just

one example. And so you could you could think of others as well, whatever's, you know, whatever might be going on in your life.
