being said, let's get on with the show. But when we have that mental stress, we produce cortisol

in our body and cortisol is a hormone that is necessary for a lot of cellular processes,

but it also is catabolic, meaning

it causes our body to break things down. And so if we're emitting this all the time, it keeps our

body in a bit of a breakdown state. And so that can apply to a bunch of our organs, including our

bones. And then the other fascinating thing about bones that I think a lot of people don't realize

is they're part of our immune system. It's where our immune cells come from. So if we're starting to have bone moss, it actually

affects our immune system, which means that then we might get more infections, which means that

then we might deal with more inflammation and more cortisol and more bone loss than more infections.
