Today I want to talk about how I used notes in Wineb. It's a little feature. You

may not have even not noticed it. You see what I did there? There's more where that came from. I'm just hitting that was the last one.

We have notes at the month level so you can make a note for a specific month.

You find that up in the header. You have notes for categories, you'll find those over in the category section,

and you have notes for the budget itself for each category for each month.

So if you have a note where it's category specific and you're saying okay for instance my bills all of my fixed bills property taxes life insurance

the amounts never change I total up all the amounts. I divided by 12 or whatever

it was and I added up basically I got a monthly amount that I put toward that one

category and that covers me for all of my fixed bills.

So I don't need to worry about categorizing things as their specific bills.

It's just all in one lump.

And I like it that way fewer categories for me is

better unless I'm attacking something like Aaron our lead teacher who's

attacking her grocery bill to discover things anyway back to that note, I have a note on that fixed bills category that tells

me what the total should be for each month and I show all the underlying bills and why that total

is what it is.

So it reminds me what to do.

And then I basically just look back for the prior month anyway and say, oh yeah, it's this and I'm

done with it.
