Welcome to the British History Podcast, my name is Jamie, and this is episode 141, breaking

0:11.8

up is hard to do.

0:16.0

Hey members, check your feeds.

0:18.2

In addition to the fun stuff we do with food, myths, and TV shows that I hate, I also

0:23.5

1:14.0

Naturally, these stories will also be included in the main show, but I think it would be

1:22.4

helpful to see the general trend of what's occurring over in Penda's homeland over the

1:26.5

centuries and how it probably led to the rise of figures like Aethelflaid, Lady of Mercia.
