I always assumed as a police wife the threat to my husband was in the field, right?

I always thought that's where the danger was and this experience has shown me that, you know, the war on cops is real.

I don't think that's anything new, but what I've learned through this experience is that war on cops is now, I think, expanded to weak command leadership, to city leaders with a political agenda, to politicians,

you know, with this anti-cop rhetoric. So I would say my view on policing has changed in that

way and that my eyes are wide open as a police wife that the threat is all around us.
