| 0:59.1 | around us. It'd be like going on a beautiful hike in a beautiful forest with everything around this being just opulent. |
| 1:07.5 | Birds are singing, flowers are blooming, the smells are magnificent, but we're having a conversation with someone, and we're so intensely |
| 1:15.3 | involved with that conversation that we don't notice all the things around us. |
| 1:19.8 | Or imagine this, we go to a beautiful concert, perhaps at a park, outdoors, and the symphony is playing, and everything |
| 1:27.2 | about the day is just beautiful again. |
| 1:30.9 | But we're getting a text from a friend and they're upset and we're so involved in that |
| 1:36.6 | texting we're not even noticing the music playing in the background and we get so focused |
| 1:41.7 | on what the conversations about that we miss out on what life is about right now. |
| 1:47.0 | Because our focus can only be on one thing at a time and because it's with the conversation or texting with our friend, we're not engaging with the music around us. |
