Welcome to the perfume room.

Today is a special day for me because it is my birthday.

I am recording this on October 30th, the day before this episode airs in true last-minute

fashion.

But obviously, my Sunday of the day had to episode airs in true last-minute fashion. But obviously,

my send of the day had to be a special one. So I really took a second, you know, ruminated on this.

What did I want to wear? What did I want to project? What did I want to smell like today?

And if you know me, you can guess what note this led me to. I'll give you a moment.

Okay, we all came to the same conclusion. Obviously, I reached for an oris scent, and after looking at my perfume wardrobe, I realized

there was one old friend who I hadn't picked up in a long time, and that scent was Commodity Oris.

Now, if you remember, I have a very special story with this fragrance, which is that before Vika Narslanian,

who is the refounder of commodity,

came on perfume room. He got word that I was a big commodity oris lover. And obviously,

with the fragrance being discontinued, I can no longer purchase it. And so he went into the back

room and sent me one of the last bottles from their inventory of this fragrance.

So it always has a special place in my heart whenever I wear it.

Now, commodity oris is discontinued, but I will say I do feel like it is like a very sort

of classic oris scent.

And I always think of ors sense as really just feeling like this perfect balance of like daily,

cotidian, easy and effortless, but also like feminine and chic and with like this element

of like a genusay qua.
