Welcome to the perfume room.

My center of the day today is from a limited Jordan release collection from Bully,

and I am wearing potatoes de caryli but-Afghanistan, aka Caribbean sweet potato and

Afghanistan carrot. I mean that name. To me, this is code for something excellent and oris

coming my way. As I've spoken about many times, I love a starchy scent. Rudy carrot, potato, sweet potato, something nutty.

To me, it is that perfect in-between gourmand category that gives breadiness and warmth and

roundness and stickiness without veering into anything that goes too saccharin, too sickly sweet.

Some fragrances as various reference points in this category that I think

have done it excellently, are Jorm Studio Gorsland, Mask Milano lost Alice, Serge Luton-Judeau-de-Poe,

Teo Cabinel, Jeunisequois, I could go on and on and on, but these are all sense that I

find to be starchy and magical. Anyway, shout out to Jasmine, who was visiting

Paris and keyed me into this limited edition vegetal collection, and I did not take one single

moment to hesitate. I immediately ordered the scent, and I am so happy I did. Now, to me,

this feels like some sort of like vegetal, almost fig mixed with like a very rudy oris and then like a spicy

vettiver.

The texture feels more closely related to like kinetic sand, a sort of like grainy, chewy

feeling versus like that sort of soft sweet potato feel.

And then the carrot note has a great spice to it.

And then there's also something very soily in here that I think comes from

the vetiver. It's like rudy but spicy. And that vetever note is what I think gives that sort of like

straight out of the soil feel. Like perhaps these carrots and these sweet potatoes made it to your

local farmer's market dirt intact. So this is my movie pitch of like where this fragrance
