One of my favorite sports coaches is John Wooden.

He was a Hall of Fame basketball coach who won lots and lots of national championships in a row.

And every year at the beginning of his sports season, he would take his players into the locker room

and he'd teach them how to put on their socks and how to tie their shoes.

Can you believe that? Here's Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, these Hall of Fame players,

and they're learning to tie their shoes and put their socks on.

There are no secrets, the seven fundamentals to real estate investing success. So you might remember from a

couple of episodes ago, I shared with you the coach Carson Cretto. And one of the seven items in the

credo was there are no secrets, that there are fundamentals, there are distinctions out there that you do want to learn.

But there are some people, particularly in the sales business, who want to tell you that

there are secrets or there's things that you don't know yet, that once you figure these out,

it'll all be taken care of.

Everything will be easy after that.

Well, what I want to talk about in today's episode are the things that aren't so secret,

but they're really important to being a success in real estate investing.
