Of course, is the amazing cover of Hotel California by the Gypsy Kings, one of the most famous

Flamenco bands in the world, probably the most famous Flamenco band.

I played that for two reasons.

One is that my guest today is a Flamenco guitarist and the other is that he sort of has a hotel

in California.

It wasn't, I didn't know we were going to talk about that.

The podcast certainly didn't come to life as an ad for his bed and breakfast set up there,

but we end up talking about it.

My guest today is Tau Rospoli.

He's one of the most interesting people I know for sure.

Also one of the most down to earth people I know, which is a real accomplishment when

you're an Italian prince who has spent a lot of time in the family castle and got some

early guitar advice from Keith Richards and spent seven years married to one of the most

lovely and famous actresses in Hollywood.

That doesn't even scratch the surface of the stuff that this guy has experienced.

The fact that he's so down to earth, so cool, so humble, so relaxed, so generous with

his time and open and healthy.

He's a healthy, cool, quirky, creative, intelligent guy who seems to land on his feet.

He's in a wonderful relationship now with a fantastic woman who's a star in her own

right.
