Summary
Journey to Launch is so excited to have Ash Cash Exantus, America's Financial Motivator, on this week's podcast. Ash Cash grew up in the projects of Harlem, New York. In his twenties, thanks to fate and opportunities, he successfully navigated up the corporate ladder in the banking industry and later became the youngest CEO of a federally chartered bank. At 30, Ash Cash threw his own retirement party, left the banking industry, and pursued a full-time career as an entrepreneur, author, speaker, and financial literacy advocate. Some unexpected financial setbacks actually helped Ash Cash refocus and discover his passion to teach financial education. Today, Ash Cash is the Founder and CEO of MindRight Money Management. In his company, he mixes psychology and personal finance to create a culturally responsive--aka dope--approach to teaching financial literacy.
In Episode 115 you will learn:
- The importance of an abundance mindset
- How to see opportunities in the midst of obstacles
- What things to consider before becoming an entrepreneur
- Tips to navigate the ups and downs of entrepreneurship
- The power of passive income and how to use it to build wealth
- The correlation between ownership and freedom
Other related blog posts/links mentioned in this episode:
Ash Cash is a best selling author with several good reads like The Wake Up Call, a book about financial principles based on Jay-Z's 4:44 album, and Mind Right, Money Right. Check out all his books here.
