Hi Katie hey David are you feeling festive I'm feeling a feeling festive? I've got my annual winter cold. It always happens a little bit around the holiday time. So hopefully now it was in plenty of time to be gone for the holiday so I apologize if I

sputter through the show a little bit. Well you've been hanging out in shopping

malls from the last couple weeks Katie? Well I've been hanging out right

here in front of my computer clicking the buy now button and the

UPS guy has been bringing me a lot of stuff so maybe if he had a cold I could have

gotten it that way. You were telling me you weren't shopping with your mom

and so if you were going out weren't you? Oh I did that's true I did I did

occasionally go out shopping with my mom I have bought one thing this year not

online I bought a picture frame for somebody and that has been the only gift

thus far that I bought not online this year.

So far I've done all my online shopping online, but for my wife I'll be going out and

braving the crowds. I've got some ideas that are going to require me to go somewhere. But that's not that's what we're here for today. We're here to talk about geek gift guide. So this is the show we we really talked about doing last year and we just ran out of time at the end of the year and I'm really glad we have time to do it this year and the idea behind it was we're both you know big nerds and we have some really cool geeky gifts that we thought would be fun.

And you could listen to this for ideas to buy the geek in your life or perhaps to put on your own list

for the holidays. So without further ado we just

picked a bunch of items and we're going to start going through them.

Yeah and this is kind of my outlet because I don't know about you but I can't get my

family members to buy me geeky gifts.

They're like afraid to buy me geeky stuff.

I know with me it's not a problem.

We've, the geekiness has spread so we're all into this stuff and that's a lot of fun.

You know even my wife who likes to always say is not a geek she's pretty much a geek now
